byWiT’s CFO Frida Lönnqvist becomes a partner in the company

Just one year after joining byWiT as CFO, Frida Lönnqvist is now becoming a partner in the company. During her first year, she has demonstrated strong drive and competence, contributing significantly to establishing a clear financial structure, leading sustainability efforts, and actively supporting our portfolio companies.

”Frida has during the past year taken byWiT to the next level in terms of reporting, valuation and sustainability leveraging her extensive experience and knowledge. Additionally, she has supported our portfolio companies with focus on profitable growth. Given her contributions, it feels just right that she becomes a partner in the company”, says Ulf Söderström, partner and CEO at byWiT.

In addition to enhancing byWiT’s internal structure as CFO, Frida has also supported the portfolio companies with reporting, analysis, and forcasting, all with focus on profitable growth. Her efforts, in collaboration with the portfolio companies and the byWiT team, have resulted in most of the portfolio becoming profitable. Frida also joined the Board of Directors at Bright Energy AB, one of byWiT’s portfolio companies.

Moving forward, Frida will be responsible for further developing byWiT’s strategy and business together with the Board, while continuing to work closely with the portfolio companies, maintaining a strong focus on profitable growth. She will also play a key role part in preparing byWiT for a liquid event through an IPO or a similar process around 2026.

”I joined byWiT because I was attracted by the entrepreneurial team and the portfolio with digital growth companies within B2B. It has been an incredibly exciting year, and I am very much looking forward to continuing to develop the portfolio and build byWiT for the future. Doing so as a partner is especially motivating” says Frida Lönnqvist, partner and CFO at byWiT.

byWiT works for increased diversity and gender equality in leadership positions both within its own company and in its portfolio. Since June this year, byWiT has strengthen its board with new chairman of the board Åsa Hedin, among other things board member of Industrifonden and Nolato, and board member Jenny Keisu, co-founder of Summa Equity. The board also includes Annie Lööf and Monica Bergvall Powell as well as byWiT’s partners and co-founders Nalle Söderström and Thomas Karlsson.
