Story
In September 2001, just after high school graduation, I decided to turn my passion for digital design into a full-time career. I began building interactive websites and multimedia products in the pioneering days of Web 2.0. With no formal training, I met with startup founders and business owners, translating their ideas into viable digital products in a world still dominated by TV and print. Soon, freelancing became my 24/7 focus. I introduced mini CDs to my product lineup, aiming to maximize profits. But within a year, I encountered my first big lesson: there are only 24 hours in a day. My approach wasn’t scalable, and I realized that a sustainable growth strategy required more than just extra hours.
20+ Years Later: Strategic Growth Lessons for Startups and Scale-Ups
After co-founding a startup that successfully exited and advising 10 other startups on their growth journeys, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what it takes to scale. Growth is multi-layered, and it begins with building a solid foundation—typically, establishing a clear product-market fit. However, true, sustainable growth requires a forward-thinking approach, with each layer of growth thoughtfully planned to support long-term success.
At byWit, we bring a data-driven, customer-focused approach to growth that resonates with both founders and investors. Growth is not about quick hacks; it’s a scientific process grounded in measurable data and insights. Our team collaborates with portfolio companies to implement a robust growth framework that tests hypotheses, uncovers key insights, drives results, and increases revenue. Growth, ultimately, is about the numbers, and our goal is to empower startup founders to scale effectively, transforming their vision into lasting success.
