In November 2021, Coeligruppen together with its customers and investor network invested in byWiT. Coeli was also principally responsible for the issue, which was oversubscribed and closed at just over 500 MSEK. After an already successful start, byWiT can now show turnover growth of roughly 120% in our portfolio companies and an increase in the share price. Coeli chooses to enter with an additional 30 MSEK in a larger new issue that closes at the end of September.
“We see continued strong growth potential in byWiT and our confidence in them is great after the first period’s results, which are reported in the company’s latest interim report. We see that the team’s combined skills and operational edge they bring to the portfolio companies as active owners are success factors that will carry equal weight in the future”, says Erik Bäckström, partner at Coeli.
ByWiT’s strategy and ambition are to invest in successful global companies that digitalize analogue industries. We have a long-term perspective on our investments, which we combine with a large capital of experience, and we expect to become one of the largest players in the digitalization and sustainability segment in the coming years.
“We are very pleased that Coeli chooses to invest additional capital in byWiT to support our ambition to invest in and develop digital growth companies. Our portfolio companies have so far shown very good growth and we see great opportunities for them in the future as well within new investments in several exciting industries”, says Ulf Söderström, co-founder and CEO at byWiT.
